Jamahal Hill continues to offer an interesting perspective on his first encounter against UFC champion Alex Pereira and promises to see him again in the octagon.

The last time Hill (12-2 MMA, 6-2 UFC) competed was against Pereira (12-2 MMA, 9-1 UFC) in the main event of UFC 300. Hill was knocked out seconds after Pereira gestured to the referee. Intervention by Herb Dean after a low blow. Since that moment, Hill has made numerous comments about what happened inside the cage that night.

At UFC 311, Hill will have the opportunity to earn Pereira another shot if he can get past another former light heavyweight champion, Jiri Prochazka. It’s a fight that “Poatan” is also following closely.

“Calm down, son. Pass this test and dad will give you a second chance,” Pereira wrote on X (formerly Twitter) in a post with a faceoff photo of Hill and Prochazka.

Shortly after the social media post, Hill responded with a few words, criticizing Pereira’s differences in approach to his recent opponents, while vowing to deserve his rematch.

“Funny how you rushed at that little ass Roundtree and that idiot Jiri like you were the man, but you waited until the refs got in the way to hit me!!!” Hill wrote in a quoting response. “You will 100% see me again soon and we both know the fear that was in your heart!!”

Since knocking out Hill, Pereira has recorded two more title defenses stopping Prochazka at UFC 303 and Khalil Rountree at UFC 307.
